Web design for US trades and home services
I make websites for people who fix, haul, mow and clean.
I'm Mykolas Bira, Michael in English, a web designer working from Lithuania. I work with small service businesses across the US, and I do things the other way round: I make your site first, as a free demo, so you can look at it before deciding anything.
Don't want it? I'll take it down.
Send a note to hi@michaelmakessites.com, or answer any of my emails with the word "stop". Your demo goes offline within 7 days (right away if you ask) and I won't write to you again.
Where a demo comes from
Before I write to a business, I look at what it has already made public and build a demo site from it: the name, the services, the photos and the reviews. The sources are the ones anyone can open:
- Your Google Business Profile
- Your Facebook page
- Your current website
Then I send you the link. It costs you nothing. If you like it, tell me what you'd change and we'll take it from there. To keep it, you pay monthly through a Stripe link that is set up once. If it's not for you, say so and it comes down.
The full details of what I keep and for how long are on the privacy page.
Who I make sites for
Mostly small crews across the US: busy out on jobs all day, with no time to fuss over a website.
- Roofing
- Junk removal
- Landscaping
- Cleaning
- Gutters
- Fencing
- Moving
- Handyman
- Septic and excavation
- Garage doors
We talk by email, or on a video call if you'd rather see who you're dealing with.
